Shells at Agingan

I took some of my shell carvings and shell collection to Agingan to take some photos.  These photos have been added to the different categories found in the Menu on the right, but here are some quickies to share right now.  To see more, click on All Carvings in the Menu.

Shells... Bone, Horns and Stone

Welcome to Memoirs of a Shell Carver.

I'll be sharing some of my work here on this blog as I complete them.  I'll also share some of my thoughts about the island of Saipan (and the Marianas), the Chamorro culture, and carving as an art form.

I work mostly with shells that are found here in the Marianas, but I also carve other material like bone, horns, and stone.  Take a look at some of my work in the menu to the right or click on the picture under About Me to find out more about my background and how to contact me.
